Taiko

Taiko literally means 'fat drum'. There are more than 8000 taiko groups in Japan. Taiko drums have been used in Japan for well over 2000 years.

We have started a taiko drumming group at BPS. Hopefully after a lot of practise the group can perform at Assembly.

    I have loved doing Taiko Drumming ever since Hajime chose me to be in the first ever Beaumaris Primary School Taiko Drumming group!!!
